EUGENE, Ore. – If your allergies are acting up, you are not alone.
An air sample in downtown Eugene registered a grass pollen count of 356 on Monday.
The “Very High” category for grass pollen starts at 200.
It’s the fourth time this month that the air monitor at Oregon Allergy Associates has hit the Very High level.
By comparison, only once this month has the grass pollen count dropped to Low.
Every other day has registered a Moderate, High or Very High concentration, according to National Allergy Bureau data.
No wonder then that Eugene again leads the nation as the worst city in the U.S. for allergy sufferers, as reported by Pollen.com.
